Another Plan

In winter, she thrives, waking hungry for the flow.  She sleeps in sanguinity, a solitary heart left to wonder the night alone only to return to her banal state of sorrow.  Mornings infernal light always pushes her back to her lonely coffin.  Before dreamless sleep finds her, she sits on the edge and stares into the other empty coffin.  Ten years alones seems like one hundred to her.  Time runs slower than it used to.  Yet the night goes by to quickly to accomplish anything other than killing a few deserving souls.  Every morning she closes her eyes, memories replay like it was only yesterday.  Everyone was gone now, ether they claimed to need something better to past their time, or they were running from this curse that graced their life.  The curse that turned their lives to shit.

“Why is there a curse?”  She thought, “is it just being a vampire, was she really damned like they say, or was it simply karma that she was owed?

“No, it wasn't always like this.  You remember when things were good don't you?”

“Yes, what happened”?

“Someone caused this”

Tristan had returned ...alone...as he walked toward his little sister and places a hand of comfort on her shoulder.

“Where’s Deirdre”

“She’s gone” Tristan sighed

“Gone?”

“She left with Delano, she should have never been, and the herd needs to be thinned.”

“I am growing bored with these mortal sacrifices; maybe we should play god to more than just a few weak humans” Cyn suggested

“Yeah, that's why I came to you.”  He smiled

“Do you smell that?” she asked Tristan?

“Yeah, familiar isn't it? “

“Smells like Home; did you go there?”

“Yeah” he replies

“What’s it like there now?”  Cyn asks

“It’s nice; a family lives there with small children.”

“I miss it there...sometimes”

“Me too”

Bubonic Bitches

You pestilent girls, disease breeds under your rotten flesh.

You spread your plague like your legs, to everyone in your life.

Lethal whores, you defy the very goddess you claim.

Psychotic shit, you devour everything you touch. Your hearts are dilapidated and your minds dysfunctional. I detest you both. And you tried to kill me too, I never wished harm on you…until now.

Soulless flesh and bone filled with evil.

Foul, contingent cunts.

You bubonic bitches should have never been born
